"New research indicates many women donate their eggs for altruistic reasons, but society still seems to be grappling with the ethics of giving these donors large sums of money for offering their unique genetic tissues to complete strangers." (UPI) This article addresses the reasons why women donate their eggs to infertile couples and considers whether it is ethical for them to be monetarily compensated.
