Add them all up and you'll begin to grasp why kids today [2004] are getting a flunking grade in conduct on the great report card of public opinion. What's more, many believe parents are at least partly to blame." (AMERICAN DEMOGRAPHICS) This article presents the results of an American Demographics survey that found that "two-thirds of Americans think children's behavior has deteriorated in the past decade" and many of them blame this on parental permissiveness.
