SETI is the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence, and its astronomers have been aiming their radio telescopes at the stars for over forty years. SETI is confident that radio waves are the best chance for contacting an extraterrestrial intelligence. Radio technology is cheap and easy to learn. SETI hopes that ET uses radio."
