520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. "Never again, vowed Mark Twarogowski after his college girlfriend became pregnant and she decided to have an abortion. Never again would he behave so irresponsibly or turn his back on a life he had helped create. Ask Twarogowski today [2003] how he views abortion and he expresses distaste....And yet Twarogowski strongly embraces Roe vs. Wade...People like Twarogowski don't see the nation's wrenching, ongoing debate over abortion in terms of black and white, like extremists on either side. To these people in the middle, this issue leads to a gray zone of complicated feelings and competing values, of vexing moral questions without easy answers." (CHICAGO TRIBUNE) This article describes how many Americans "neither think abortion should be legal in all circumstances...nor that it should be altogether illegal," making them an important target of anti-abortion activists wanting to overturn Roe vs. Wade.
